While people see a big company and think “big remodels” this doesn’t have to be the case, here at Bennett Contracting – we do jobs big and small. Doing smaller home renovations can hold you over from having to do a complete home remodel until you know exactly what you want and when you have time.
Types of smaller home renovations
- Install a new shower or bathtub
- Get new install flooring
- Update lighting fixtures

- Update sink fixtures in a kitchen or a bathroom
- Replacing your entry door
- Add a back deck, or update the one you have
Benefits of smaller home renovations
Smaller renovations can make your home look and feel new and refreshed. They can also hold you over until you know what you want to do – this way you won’t be stuck with a home remodel you aren’t happy with. A smaller renovation can also be great during the colder fall and winter months when you are spending more time at home inside to enjoy.
A new feeling of home
We recently worked a retired couple who first found Bennett by searching on Angie’s List from “the best contractor,” with the most reviews and an A rating. Their first job was this Trex deck and ProVia patio door then they decied to add on, with a kitchen and CertainTeed vinyl siding next spring. They love their home and have no plans on ever moving out, instead they are making it a safe, low maintenance place to stay in their retirement years. They added this large, open, Trex deck with an Aluminum railing system. The old wood deck required annual cleaning and staining.
This kitchen project was motivated by a desire to open the kitchen and let in some light. The wall between the kitchen and living room was removed and this beautiful new kitchen installed. Designed by Justina and installed by Dennis, the owners had nothing but positive things to say about the Bennett team. They appreciated the suggestions and quality of work. Note the spice rack cabinet, Cambria countertop and crown molding. The flooring looks just like wood, but is premium vinyl tile instead. We love working with them to make additions to their home as they see fit!
