Voorheesville, NY

Voorheesville is a village located within New Scotland, NY. Initially it was referred to as the Union Depot until it was named after railroad attorney, Alonzo B. Voorhees. Incorporated in 1899 around the area that the Albany & Susquehanna Railroad and the New York, West Shore & Buffalo Railroads crossed one another, this small village now has a population of about 2,800 residents.

Not long after Voorheesville was incorporated, Bennett Contracting came about in 1915, to serve those residents with professional contracting services. What started out as a small plumbing business, has currently expanded to a sizable company that provides replacement window installation, siding, kitchen remodeling, bathroom renovation, porch & deck construction, and home additions.

Whether your Voorheesville home is modern or historical, Bennett contracting has the materials to match your needs. Our experts will ensure your deck, porch, or seasonal room meets your desired design, while maintaining full functionality. You will have a space for you and your guests to enjoy for years to come!
